Membership of the International Union of Journalists and

Media Persons is open to anyone who practices journalistic

and media work and fulfills the following conditions:

He has legal capacity.

• Hold an academic qualification from a recognized
• university or body:

▪PhD in Journalism or Media.

▪Master's degree or higher diploma in journalism or media.

▪University degree in journalism or media.

▪A certificate of training to practice the profession for

a peirod of no less than two years.

▪A high school diploma or its equivalent with a certificate

of tarining in practicing the profession for a period of no

less than one year.
